yeah im doing okay. cast is off so no complaints. you? wasn't there some fancy party??

There was some fancy party, yes. It kept me quite busy, but I'm relieved it went well. No one needed a cast afterwards, which I count as a win.

anyway: robot? did you want to meet to go over deets or do it here. i can work off pretty vague descriptions if you want.

I'd love to meet if you're comfortable with that. I'm afraid I don't have any definite ideas yet, so if there's anything you're keen to experiment with, I'd be open to discussing that.

and ... weeeeell i guess it depends on what you want to USE it for. helperbot? attackbot? nursebot?

I was thinking along the lines of security. Defense, particularly, though possibly with the ability to respond to emergencies. I have plans to open a women's shelter; a robot to help watch over people would go a long way in ensuring the safety of my charges.

oh! yeah! totally, i can make something like that. something designed not to be threatening to the people you're protecting but tough enough to step in if it has to.

It would be wonderful it was robust enough that it could be around children, since there are usually a few in those situations.

so like a variation on the baymini design huh? making a big robot will be tough, but i could make somehting roughly child-sized.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be as.... huggable, but I'm sure the children would love something they could interact with, that also helps them feel safe.

[Because it is 100% about making sure those people feel safe.]

And whatever size you can make possible is more than fine. It doesn't even have to be humanoid, if another form is easier.
